Dig Open Day 2004
Despite the weather more than 100 people braved the mud in deepest Somerset and came to visit the site on Saturday 18 September 2004. Unfortunately we were unable to allow any digging as it was too wet and slippery, but youngsters were able to try a little geophys and survey using an EDM (Electronic Distancing Meter, an instrument that measures in both the horizontal and vertical plane by using a laser). Visitors were also able to see many of the superb finds from this season and sample some Roman snacks.
